Tim Eyman's Initiative 1366: NO
I-1366 is Tim Eyman's latest and most destructive initiative yet. It would wipe out $8 billion in sales tax revenue over the next six years unless, by April 15th, 2016, the Legislature bows to the will of Eyman and his wealthy benefactors and votes to sabotage our Constitution's abiding majority vote requirement for passage of bills. Were the Legislature to do as Eyman demands, power over the outcome of revenue votes would be permanently transferred from 50 of 98 elected representatives and 25 of 49 elected senators to just 33 representatives and 17 senators, allowing extremist right wing Republicans to veto any progressive tax reform legislation proposed by Democrats and more reasonable Republicans. Vote NO on I-1366.

Paul Allen's Initiative 1401: YES
I-1401 was proposed by Microsoft co-founder and Vulcan owner Paul G. Allen to toughen penalties for individuals who engage in trafficking of endangered species. It would make selling, purchasing, trading, or distributing certain animal species threatened with extinction, and products containing such species, a gross misdemeanor or class-C felony, with exemptions for certain types of transfers. The list of species I-1401 would protect includes elephants, lions, rhinos, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, pangolins, rays, marine turtles, and sharks.

Advisory Votes 10, 11, 12, 13
Vote MAINTAINED. The four advisory votes on your ballot are brought to you by Tim Eyman's I-960. Each advisory vote concerns a bill that was already approved by the Washington State Legislature as part of the budget. These "advisory votes" are nonbinding, but they're appearing on our ballots because the Supreme Court didn't fully strike down Tim Eyman's I-960 when it had the opportunity to. Vote Maintained to send the message you support the revenue the Legislature raised or recovered. Go here for an explanation of how the advisory votes are a waste of your tax dollars.
